Cluster Standards

New! Deck stain standards clarification

The Reston Design Review Board has approved an addition to include a new statement in our cluster standards under Decks. It states that residents may use a stain from any manufacturer as long as it closely matches the color of one of the currently approved stains. This is intended as a convenience to residents when an approved stain is out of stock locally or discontinued by the manufacturer. If you have questions please contact us at [email protected]

The Cluster Standards have had some updates approved by the Reston DRB recently. The standards document linked on the right sidebar has been updated to reflect this. If you have questions on anything standards-related after reading the updated (2022) standards, please email [email protected].

As a reminder, check with the cluster board and the standards before making any changes.

Any applications for new standards made by the cluster will be listed on the Cluster Standards page.

Board Meetings

Regular monthly cluster board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, at 7:30 PM. Please email [email protected] to request a meeting link / location if you would like to join us.

Mail Theft

There have been a several instances of mail theft from our cluster recently, allowing thieves access to homeowner bank account information. Police, USPIS and FBI are investigating and at least one culprit has been found guilty.

What you can do:

  • Do not leave mail in your mailbox overnight
  • Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery emails
  • Have a neighbor collect your mail when you travel, or if you cannot leave the house
  • Set up a USPS vacation hold (can be done online)

Glass Recycling

Since glass is no longer picked up by the curbside Republic service, there are drop-off points (large purple bins/dumpsters) around Fairfax county for all types and colors of glass containers. The nearest one to us is in the corner of Baron Cameron Park closest to the Wiehle and Baron Cameron intersection.
